Golden Signature Services – Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Services
Golden Signature Services (“We,” “Our,” or “Us”) provides mobile notarial services including acknowledgments, jurats, oaths/affirmations, copy certifications, and witness verification as allowed under Alabama law. We do not draft documents, provide legal advice, or determine the legal sufficiency of a document.
2. Appointment Scheduling
Appointments must be scheduled in advance by phone, email, or online request. Same-day appointments are accepted subject to availability.
3. Identification Requirements
All signers must personally appear and present valid, unexpired, government-issued photo identification at the time of notarization. Acceptable forms include driver’s licenses, state-issued IDs, passports, or military IDs. Expired or inadequate IDs cannot be accepted.
4. Document Preparation
All documents must be completed prior to the notary’s arrival, except for the signature line which must be signed in the notary’s presence. The notary will refuse service if documents are incomplete or improperly prepared.
5. Fees & Payment

Notarial acts are charged according to Alabama state guidelines plus applicable travel fees.

Extended travel, after-hours, holiday, or expedited appointments may incur additional charges disclosed at booking.

Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, credit/debit, or secure mobile payments.
6. Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice will not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the appointment or failure to appear at the scheduled time may result in a charge equal to the travel fee.
7. Witnesses
It is the client’s responsibility to provide required witnesses unless prearranged with Golden Signature Services. Witnesses must present valid ID.
8. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service if:

The signer appears coerced, unwilling, or unaware of the contents of the document;

The signer cannot present acceptable identification;

The document is incomplete or unlawful;

Any situation compromises the integrity, legality, or safety of the notarial act.
9. Confidentiality
All client information and documents are handled with strict confidentiality and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
10. Limitation of Liability
Golden Signature Services is not responsible for the legality or content of the document being notarized. Our liability is limited solely to the proper performance of the notarial act.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
